2020: Kay was grooming (?) lil hoss. It looked like she was picking fleas out of it's feathers. Lil hoss was not happy and kept flapping it's wings. Perhaps in preflight training to teach stretching it's wings. Interesting.

1643: Was watching the babies. Big hoss just stepped all over lil hoss. Lil hoss didn't move. I am sad.

I have been keeping track of lil' hoss. I have been so worried about that baby (yes I know all about survival of the fittest). However, just now I have watched the mom making an attempt to feed the lil one. She is down in the nest with it and actively feeding. Finally and Awesome.
