This forum is for all. Raptorman is not lecturing, he is stating facts. I, personally, didn't know much about hawks and have learned much from his posts. To him, I say thank you. As for the rest... kinda silly.

I am no expert for sure, but as sad as it is for us humans to watch as nature takes it's course, this is the way things are. If we interfere, we may be jeopardizing the health of the larger chick. Strong, healthy chicks compete for food. The weak ones don't survive to the benefit of all hawks. This is life.
