Thank you Russell and KJRH for the magic moments viewed through your cam.  I never imagined I could be so attached to ''Chicken Hawks''. As sad as I am about the abandonment, it was really more difficult to lose little ''Spirit''.  Technology has allowed us to observe what could only be imagined before.  Now I look up ...

12:50:  Hawk sitting on eggs.  Can't tell which one for sure.  Checked again..looks like Jay

4:47pm Kay left nest

12:19pm Jay exits left

6:02:  Jay is back in the nest

6:02:  Eggs alone in nest

5:55  Kay rolls eggs and sits

4:25pm  Now it looks like Jay in the nest.  Bobmac:  Am I seeing the wrong white eyebrows again?

4:20pm:  No hawks in nest

I started watching when the first egg hatched.  I don't recall her being so vocal when Jay was away. But she was very busy with her newborn.  She is older now and maybe more cranky.
