I can't add  much more than what others have said without repeating myself, so I'll just say, Thank you, Russell, for all you've done.  And thank you to all in the forum for your contributions.  All of us have seemed to flock together in this forum and become friends in the meantime.  Well done.

Sallyls, Hi.  Glad to see you checking in as I do on our favorite family.  Wish things would have turned out differently, but they are coming around and not leaving the area.  Good sign, I think.  I'll be looking in and contributing every now and then.  Good to hear from you.

Bobdmac, thank you for taking the time to find out about our Kay and Jay.  In fact I feel better about the whole situation.  They'll be back.  And let's hope the food supply is in abundance and the weather cooperates a whole lot more than it has this year.  A toast to next season then!

Catgirl, I want to thank you for all you hard work and running around Brookside trying to keep us in touch with Kay and Jay.  I appreciate it so much.  I hope you locate Kay and that she is doing just fine.  We've seen more sides to nature than I really want to acknowledge. It's like watching Animal Planet only closer to home ...

Jay did bring food to the nest.  I think she called out mostly if she saw him nearby in the air.

I wonder when the station will mention what's happening with the nest?  They may have already but missed it.  Watched this morning, but I didn't hear anything.

10:30pm - Jay keeping his babies warm.  Goodnight, Jay.  You're the best!

9:26 pm - Jay sleeping peacefully.   Bobdmac, I'll check back in another hour or so.  Poor guy.

8:12 pm - Jay doing the night watch.  Looks around occasionally.
