Hi all, I guess I've been AWOL for a few months now so I thought I'd post a couple pics real quick. Sorry I don't get on more often but trust me I keep an eye on the goings on here, it's heartening to see everyone posting and chatting.
I got these shots Friday, but for the record saw Kay on the tower yesterday afternoon. I spot them about once ...

This slide sequence shows Kay on the tower, then taking to the air as I'm trying to get her picture.
The last shot shows a few pigeons vacating the area with all due haste.
I do still see a lot of pigeons in the area, though perhaps not as many as in years past...

I've been MORE THAN remiss in keeping up with my Hawk duties :( so I thought I'd drop by to post a couple of recent pics and alert you all to a new video clip...

Checked the nest this afternoon and saw a branch with fresh, green leaves newly placed near the egg. Strange...

Just a few minutes ago our art director, Shawn Brett popped his head in the newsroom... ''Come outside! Now!''
I went outside and we could see 2 hawks sky dancing!
Then...the plot thickens, as we see a THIRD hawk soaring around nearby.

Just as I finished putting these pictures together I looked up to see both hawks in the nest on the hawk cam. They didn't stay long, but they're really hanging about the nest a LOT.
