To those who have inquired about the happenings at my house concerning the red-tail hawks that nest close by…..I see and hear little out of them but tonight a really cool thing happened……I was standing outside and saw a large dark bird fly low up the valley in front of me and then about an hour later (around 11pm) I heard what sounded like two owls

I have finally finished adding all of the photos and videos of the hawks nesting close to my house to my flikr page. Bobdmac, I don’t mind being corrected at all. I just reported what I saw. I’m glad someone else can fill in the blanks. Wow, what a weekend for Kay! She did an outstanding job protecting those eggs during the winter storm on Saturday and then flipped a wig pretty much all day on Sunday! 6:08-6:15 Spoke too soon. Everything does not appear normal. Kay stands on side of nest for about 5 minutes, then settles down on the eggs again. It isn’t the norm for her to hop up after sitting for only 15 minutes.

6:05 Kay sitting on eggs with head at 1 o'clock. Seams like everything is back to normal.
