    Broken Arrow Man Hangs Dog

I hope that KJRH will follow this story that was in the Tulsa World on 6/12/2008.  Any person that would stoop to such lengths is capable of most anything.  For those who don't know the story: George Roberts captured and hanged his neighbors black lab.  He hung him from a tree in his yard after it wandered onto his property.  The dog was apparently very friendly and was an easy catch.  I know personally that he has done many cruel acts to other animals.  This is the first time that he was caught in the act.  I hope that he gets jail time for this latest of many crimes that he has committed!

Actually I think the punishment should fit the crime whether it be human victims or animal victims.

Can they use the death penalty on someone who commits a crime so heinous, in Oklahoma? I feel nauseous after reading about this...

Hi socal, if you want to read the complete article go to http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/article.aspx?subjectID=11&articleID=20080611_11_Autho32475 and read it. My father in law, before he passed away, was a neighbor of this George Roberts. Two of his three dogs over the years disapeared and one was poisoned and died.  A very bad person indeed.

We have indeed covered the story online and on the air.

The suspect actually wrote us an email asking for our raw video.

Because of my position here I will withold editorial comment. I'll just say it's very, very hard not to express my feelings on this topic.
