Sutton eaglet (JJ) at Sooner Lake. Found in a tree late this afternoon with the help of ground spotters, a phone contact, and Sutton's "EagleGuy" on the WideCam--south and east of nest pole (slightly below center in capture)

Sutton Eagles in, "Tale(s) of a Tree"
On toward lunchtime for eaglets--Three treed eagles (JJ in aqua).
JJ begins a descent by talon from the tree, to claim a ground food drop by an adult.

Eyes on the prize, JJ flies down the rest of the way.

Adults preside above the feasting.

After an afternoon nap in the grass, JJ eventually reclaims the tree, stretching her wings in the shade.

What great captures! Glad you were on the ball today to share with those of us who missed it.  Hearing about it and seeing the pics are very different things.  Thanks sooo much!
