His death was absolutely a shock! I grew up listening to his songs on vinyl and, even now as an adult, his music still makes me want to get up and dance. May he RIP and condolences to the family.

I agree! I had no idea he had passed away. I woke up from a nap, saw that I had a new voicemail from a friend and couldn't believe it. I couldn't get to the television fast enough to find out the details. What a sad day for the music world! I grew up listening to "Thriller." His music transends race and time. At times controversial, Michael Jackson was the ultimate entertainer.

When I woke up last night the first thing my wife told me was that Michael Jackson had died. I was completely stunned, there had been nothing in the news that he'd even been having health problems. When I was growing up I was always amazed by his talent, and despite some of the pitfalls during his life, Michael demonstrated that regardless of where you may start in life there is also a dream that can come true. RIP Michael.

While I'm sorry for his family that MJ passed away, ENOUGH already.  He was a FREAK!!  I wouldn't buy his music or go to a concert of his for anything.  There's other stuff going on in the world.....get over his passing.  What about those kids he molested??  He should have served time in jail instead of being allowed to buy his way out of it.

This death of Michael Jackson is so horrible! I couldn't believe it when I heard it, but I was just ballin' when they were playin his old jams that my parents and I jam too all the time. R.I.P. and blessings to his family, all of us.

While I am sorry about anyone losing their life, the more I see and read about this circus around Michael's death, the less interested I get. A solid week of coverage, the will, the children, Joe Jackson et all, et all et all.

Jackson was a child molestor with money. He cannot be forgiven regardless of the bias of the media.

    Indifferent

    Re: Death Of Michael Jackson

Enough is enough.  There has been WAY TO MUCH coverage on this accused pervert, child moliister, drug abuser's death.  Where are all the stories about the men and women (HEROES) who have served the USA in the armed service?  Many have given their all, even lives, for this country.  They are the ones that the news media should be covering instead of this accused abuser.  Give me a GOOD story on HEROES so that my children can have a GOOD ROLE MODEL that they can look up to. NOT MJ.  It is really sad that MJ had to overshadow Farri F.(?) who died battling cancer.

Please get over it.  He is gone. Enough of it. Put something else on the TV worth watching.
