Thank you tripsqkr!  Hey you are another technically gifted person, are you not?  I just asked our BobGodofAllTechnicalThings !!!  if he happened to know why... but maybe you know:  I've posted some screen captures on 3 threads here today, and the ones on the "Post-Fledge" thread have stuck... but the others on the "Photos", and "Raptor Rap" threads have not... They were there and then disappeared later!   ???? 
Any clue as to why that happened?

Well I just succesfully replaced the one missing on this thread... I hope it "sticks"...(the one of Jay moving them...)

THUNDER TODAY ON CAMERA SUPPORT BAR around 1:55 - 2:00 p.m.  This particular screen capture was the only one I got of her face... this being her closed eye while preening. There are others that show her tail, and the back of her head, and too many of just her back...

Awww shucks, bobdmac.  Now I'm blushing. ..... Actually, nevermind.  It's just another hot flash.

Loving all the pictures and links! I have seen hummingbirds do that. I tried it once and only got hit in the head by them during their little hummer wars. They are amazing little birds. AND, THAT HAWK! How amazing is that bird? Absolutely gorgeous! The pictures have been good therapy for me! Keep em coming!

Yes, gunit, WildOats is at 41st and Peoria, next to the Med-X.  It is also called Whole Foods, they just have not changed out all the signs yet.

Russell: Thanks for the Jay pics!!! This is such a boon to us non-locals getting to see "our" hawks looking healthy, strong and beautiful out there in the real world! You've got a great camera...
