9:49  Thunder on edge of platform flapping and walking about.  I believe the reason the camera is panning the gas station is that one of the adults is sitting on the pole to the left side.

    Re: Observation Thread

I didn't notice the adult. Geez...Embarrassed I hope the adults don't lead it to the gas station! Surely not!

    Re: Observation Thread

15:05 - Thunder standing on platform at 12 facing 6.  She has been standing there for quite awhile.  No flapping, no hopping just standing.

T on platform at 12 facing out.  Alone and quiet.  Standing looking out.

    Re: Observation Thread

16:13 - T jumped from railing at 9 to railing at 3.  There seems to be something dark in the nest area just where the railing at 6 and the railing at 9 meet at about 7.  I don't think I have seen this before.  Does anyone know what this is? Maybe it is a shadow but I just can't see it that way.

16:18 - T is now jumping and "flying" from 3 to 9 to 6 back and forth.  Flapping and jumping.

    Re: Observation Thread

16:13 Thunder in the nest at 2 flapping and lifting.  Once he got above the camera range and it took several seconds before he came down.  He is able to lift up and stay up for several seconds at a time.  Amazing!

16:26 T walking about nest and picking and eating a couple of things found among the sticks.  Picks up the old feather again in his mouth but spits it out of the nest and it blows over the rail into the platform area.  He keeps walking about the nest.  It seems there is new greenery in the nest.
