Jay left the nest at 7:28am on Sun April 5, 2009

Neither Kay nor Jay have been back to the nest since

Mon April 6 two people gave reports of seeing Kay and Jay in the area.

I guess if this is not appropiate or you like something better. Change it.

I would like to leave this for any sightings of Kay and Jay. Discussions of Kay and Jay during the nest building any theories or thoughts on their actions and where do they go from here?

When looking for a new car loan or a used car loan, a very essential thing to think about is the car loans
rates that are offered by the car financing institution. It is
important to compare the rates provided by various finance companies so
that a decision can be made on how comfortable you will be with the car
loan interest rates. A guaranteed car loan rates is usually affected by 2 things: how much you are borrowing and the term of the no credit check car loans . Though these seem as typical points to weigh up of before choosing a best car loan
rate , the process of calculating how much you ought to apply for and
the payments that you will pay can be a daunting task. This is where a
car loan calculator comes into the picture.

With a car financing
calculator you can calculate car loans payments you will shell out
supposing you apply for a certain credit amount. The loan calculator
has an easy-to-use interface, where you key in data and it does your
calculations automatically. When settling on no credit car loan
rates , you can request that the lending institution adds a number of
items to it. For instance, you may want vehicle insurance, warranties
for mechanical breakdowns that the automobile may come across, on road
costs, among others built-in in the car loan
interest rates. The loan company will have to approve this car lease
proposal. If it passes through, do remember that you will still have to
borrow the money over the same time as specified in the car loan
agreement.

Used car loans are slightly cheaper than new car loans. Also, the rates differ for secured used car finance
and personal finance. Personal loans or unsecured car loans are usually
much higher in interest rates. If you opt to go for the secured car
loans due to their lower car loan rates, you have to have enough
capital to forfeit for car insurance, and you will also have to offset
the loan if you sell your car. It can be more difficult to get a car
loan approved when the car is more than 7years old.

Another factor that determines the bad credit car loans
interest rates is where you intend to get your car from. Imported used
cars are not liked by most car loan companies, or they have a very
rigorous process for those applying for car financing for such. In such
a case, getting a personal loan may be the best substitute. Choosing
the best car loan is not difficult if you do enough research with some patience

Our Pets and Other Life Dramas...

HLC and all who have asked about and extended their good thoughts and prayers on behalf of my dog. Thank you all. You are all so dear to be thinking of my dog, and giving me your kind works of support... So here's the story:

As of last night, by the time we went to bed....
The bottom line is that she has been placed on anti-seizure medication, and is back home resting after her horrible day, yesterday. The blood test showed some elevations in one of her kidneys, (1.8), and her globulins were also high, (3.9). Also, one of her liver enzymes was slightly elevated, but the vet wasn't worried as much about that as the other stuff. The thyroid portion of the panel won't be available until tomorrow. They didn't do a brain scan. They said the only way to determine whether or not there's a brain tumor is to do an MRI which is, unfortunately, cost prohibitive. So, the vet has opted to act as if we are treating straight forward seizures caused by something else. As well, she advised us to switch to a different food that is basically a special kidney diet. So far, since we brought her home she has had no seizures. She ate, drank a ton of water, went out to do her thing several times, and seemed kind of drunk and wobbly.... but HEY! We have her home with us, and seizure-free for now! Yeah!

Update this morning... She slept like a puppy through the night, ate and drank normally this morning, had her rx, and paced around a bit.... but seems o.k. ... Now she is sleeping. I'm going to stay home with her all day today, to observe her and give her all the tlc she needs (and deserves!).

Feral Cat

So does anybody know why my cat likes to bite as part of his affection? I've just recently started reading books on a regular basis again, and I'm so excited to get others motivated to do the same. So now's the time to pick up this month's selection, Made in the USA by Billie Letts.

I really enjoyed her novel Shoot The Moon, and since she is a local author I thought this would make a good selection for our "first" book club book. I haven't read this one yet, so we're all going to be reading it together.

When you're finished, let me know what you think by emailing me (link is above). You might get to come on the show and we can all talk about it together.

So go get the book now! We have a month to finish. Welcome!

OK, I'm not that bad, but not much better.

I am only on Chapter Three, yet AVM has opened my eyes to a whole new world of FOOD. It has truly made me question why I have never learned much about where my food comes from, and how all these years I could be stuffing my face without wondering how it was made.

How could I not know which fruits and vegetables are in season? I literally had to 'google it' to find out, an even bigger sign of the changing times. And it never occured to me WHY buying local and in season was so important to us, outside of the taste.

Looking forward to my journey with Kingsolver and learning more.

Other miscellaneous sources such as books could also be included. The goal is to have one central resource spot for quick reference to live cams, photo galleries, blogs, and other websites of interest. It's still a work in progress, but I'll kick it off with a list subject to additions, revisions, corrections, etc. The idea is to function much as does bobdmac's video thread--that is, an initial post or two, to be edited from time to time with new entries, so as to keep the list in the same location. If you want to suggest additions or have other comments, you can post them as usual; and I'll edit the original post(s) as indicated, back at the beginning. Or you can email the links to me. So here is a first wing-flap, to take the plunge.

I'll also be adding, with permission, any Flickr links for Forumers wishing to post their information.

FLICKR LINKS

Catgirl
www.flickr.com/photos/cheryls_camera
"Look for the continually evolving collections on the right. 'Tulsa Urban Hawks' contains photos of the five pairs of RTs that occupy adjacent territory to the KJRH hawks.
Statistics show that over 90% of computers have corrupted registries… what this means to you is: your computer is running nowhere near its full potential!

The Windows registry is like “engine” behind the Windows Operating System. Unfortunately as we use our computers more and more this engine gets full of clutter in the form of misplaced data, bad programs, or simply overload. This clutter slows down your computer and starts causing crashes and errors.

Most computer problems are a direct consequence of a damaged registry. For example, if you’ve experienced any of these problems listed below, your registry needs help:

- system not as fast as it was when you first got it;
- computer crashes and you don't know why;
- start up is not as fast as it used to be or it crashes on start up;
- longer than usual loading times;
- error messages popping up and programs not working;

Every program you install, every little internet download, and even spyware that you’ve already deleted will change a small section of your system registry. Over time all these little changes will add up, slowing your pc down immensely!

But don’t worry, with the right registry cleaner this is an easy fix. A simple scan will find and repair all these problems resulting in performance that is comparable to a brand new computer!

The typical wait at least an hour if u come on time and the the people that work there treat you like ur in jail. But what really irks me is you are allowed not even a magazine or anything while u wait to support a loved one thats in jail. The jails seem to discourage visitors why else would they make you a visitor sit the a chair with no communication to the outside world, no drink nothing to eat no book u r to stair at a wall and wait to be called for hours!!! when i last went i just got off a 40 hour week and was informed very rudely that i wasnt allowed my purse where am i to put that? so in my car in goes i trudge back upstairs to sit and then was told no phone no magazine i look around at all the faces of forlorn and other emotions.. this is ridiculus!! We family members of those incarcerated should not have to go thru this what is the harm in a book to pass the long wait? we see love one thru glass anway.. Its long overdue for change and very unfair to those of us that do the right thing and are free.

JJ on the bar today!

Her "branching, or bar-hopping, has begun!

Government Health Care

If you think healthcare is bad now, just get the Congress ingrained further into the system.

To get the public a little more involved, we are trying a DIET book. The big d-word. And this is no ordinary diet - it's a very aggresive nutrition plan, written by an Austin, TX firefighter, Rip Esselstyn.

No meat.

No chicken.

No fish.

No eggs. No dairy... even no oil.

Are you up for the challenge? We have recruited two firefighters from the Tulsa Fire Department. One with dangerously high cholesterol, who pays $90 a month to pay for cholesterol medications. The other is an athlete who wants to maximize his athletic potential. Firefighters in general are at very high risk for heart disease given the nature of their job.

But this is not just for these guys - the book is for everyone. The author claims this is the ultimate road to good health. How could it effect you? I'm giving it a try. I'm already a vegetarian, but this is taking it to a new level.

Thoughts? We'll be checking in with the firefighters periodically. Also, tune into 2News Midday for their results.

I haven't forgotten about Wicked - review to come!

Happy Fourth of July!
