Yay, bobdmac !!!  Thank you!  You're at it again with the video-logging this season!   You don't know how much this enriches our whole experience of watching Kay and Jay's (and Thunder's) saga...  So many of us can't be at the computer during the "drama" as it unfolds.  Watching your videos when we are at the computer is priceless!!!!   Thank you again, so much!!!!

Sidenote on viewing hawks in general...Bicycling or walking for errands is also a great way to see our own neighborhood hawks, up close and personal, as one passes right underneath them while they are often perched on a light pole hanging out over the sidewalk and street! (at least around here they are...)

bobdmac, thank you!!!  It sure looks like those seed pods are fresh "throw pillows" in the bed.  Kay and Jay have perhaps been availing themselves of the neighborhood's seasonal merchandise.  Very well appointed looking nest, I must say.   And the tail.... hmmm.    Could be kestrel.   I didn't see any sign of a red feather, but then we were looking at the wrong side, perhaps?   sallyls would know, probably.   sallyls ?  What think you, lady?
