    Re: Mojo: Tragedy and Triumph

Hi all, sorry I've been such a poor correspondent.

Mojo has made incredible progress and has even regained some of her sight.

Here's a couple of photos... BTW these files are very large, I apologize for the d/l time...

A moment when she's not in motion, yet still conscious...

    Mojo in full stretch...

Napping with Auntie Angelica... strange, because Angel almost never tolerates other cats.

    Re: Mojo: Tragedy and Triumph

Bville, thanks for the heads-up. I spent the last hour in Mojo Land, watching her progress from her initial home mapping by stumbling around slowly, to eventually vigorously clawing her way up onto the bed, and then eventually finding her way down in an effective if not graceful plop, all by herself. From bumping into walls, to killing empty shoes (and Russell's bare toes), from learning to eat and drink without choking, to gobbling up dinner like a champ. Your other cats have clearly made a place for her in their lives. She is learning too the social order of the other cats, and the benefits of showing submission as needed (discretion being the better part of valor, of course). Her answer to one life-threatening disaster after another? Her youthful, feline curiousity, unflagging energy, and her "of-course-I-can-do-it" attitude. She is so very clever, re-learning the world by scent and sound, the inaudible (to us) echos of maybe nothing more than moving air past objects to tell her where walls and obstacles are. I suspect the carpet holds more sensory/smell clues for her than the kitchen floor, and certainly gives her better traction. She very quickly learned to go under chair rungs instead of over or between. She is so very smart, and so very loved. Thank you for sharing her with us.

    Re: Mojo: Tragedy and Triumph

Thanks for these new pictures and good news about Mojo, Russell! She is getting to be very beautiful... was already, before, but now sleeker and more mature looking. And how joyous that some sight has returned to her beautiful eyes! Again, you are so lucky to have her... and she is very lucky, indeed, to have you guys! Enjoy!

    Re: Mojo: Tragedy and Triumph

Thank you for the update Russell. So glad to hear all is well.

Mojo has really grown into a beautiful (almost) adult! I bet she is still full of surprises and keeps you on your toes.
