Rubydo: Once again, we find our hearts and souls bound together and strengthened by our common love for our precious JJ. Today, June 9, 2009, we got to see her fly from the nest to the bar and back to the nest. She managed this amazing trick twice in the same day, even learning how to walk the length of the bar and turn in different directions. Fears of impending tornadoes and thunderstorms would not keep our girl from her appointed duties. She responded to two food drops by tearing up the prey and doing away with it. Now she sits in her favorite place while mom watches lovingly from the crossbar. Good work little lady. We are so proud of you. You make us realize that there are lessons to be learned from you. When the time is right, we also will overcome the odds and get through the hard lessons and we look into the future, anticipating the day that we will also soar on eagle wings above all that holds us down on this troublesome earth. Thank you for all the lessons you have taught us, little girl. We love you!
