Okay I think it's time to start a new thread :)
Yesterday, I spotted a hawk on a tree next to our parking lot. I ran in to grab my camera but only got a couple of fuzzy pics because the feathered rascal grabbed something out of the tree (a branch with something attached) and then flew over my head to the nest area.
I ran inside to turn the nest cam over and whoa! They're both up there!
So I ran back to my office and threw in a tape. You can see the new video on the main hawk page in the video player on the top right.
The "berries" are probably sycamore pods, but I'm pretty arboreally illiterate.

Anyway, this all seems a very positive sign that they will indeed use the nest site this season, and I'm crossing my fingers that we'll have another egg watch on our hands in a few weeks...
