The 15th annual Tulsa WindRiders Festival of Kites
The 15th annual Tulsa WindRiders Festival of kites is a two day fun fly.May 10th & 11th from 10:am til 5:pm. It is well attended by kite enthusist from all over Oklahoma, as well as kite flyers from surrounding states . It is held each year at East 43rd ST. & South Garnett RD. in the south east corner of the fields. Just look for the kites in the sky. On Satuday there will be a silent auction of kites & kite related items. All bids are final at 5:00pm (donations are welcome). Saturday & Sunday there will be Kite making for the kids & kite demostrations. On Sunday at 2:00pm there will be a salute to MOM, bring your mom out & fly a red ,white & blue kite in a mass ascention of kites. For more info contact larry Stiles 918-630-9334
