Care More for Claremore Neighborhood Clean-Up Day
FREE event will be from 8am - noon on Saturday, May 3, 2008.
Volunteers will meet at 8am at the Claremore EXPO Center, 400 Veterans Pkwy., Claremore, OK 74017. We will be cleaning up the Bayless Addition, an old part of town with many senior citizens, bordered by Chambers on the east, Moore on the west, DuPont on the south and Will Rogers on the north. Volunteers will be helping with outdoor chores including cleaning up trash, raking leaves, disposing of old furniture and appliances in yards, painting exteriors of houses and buildings, planting flowers, etc. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes they don't mind getting dirty.
Care More for Claremore is a voluntary citizens group aimed at revitalizing and beautifying the City of Claremore. This is the group's first Neighborhood Clean-Up Day. Individuals as well as church, boy scout, girl scout and other service groups are welcome to participate. If you would like to volunteer, please call Tim James at 918.341.1325.
