What a Super Bowl. For the second straight year, the game was more exciting than the commericals and the half-time show. Thank goodness. For a minute I was starting to think this Super Bowl thing was going to become secondary to wardrobe malfuction and Clydesdale love stories.
The Giants win over new England was compelling in itself, and the Steelers win over an upstart Arizona squad was fun to watch. And what a play to win it. Big Ben with the perfect throw, and a tremendous catch by Holmes.
Question. Which play will be remembered more. Manning to Tyree or Roethlisberger to Holmes?
I'm going with Manning-Tyree, and no its not because I'm a Giants fan.
Here is the reason. Giants are done if Manning does not avoid the sack, and Tyree does not hang on the ball against his helmet. No catch, game over..New England goes 19-0.
The Steelers were in field goal range to tie the game, and it was a seocnd down throw for the win..
Thats the tiebreaker.
What do you think?
